Mission 001 - Edge of Space Gaming Test
Our first high-altitude experiment launches gaming hardware into near-space conditions aboard a StratoReach Aerospace balloon platform. Data collection, performance metrics, and full mission documentation coming soon.
Target Launch: 2026
Mission 002 - Controller Cold Test
Pushing consumer gaming controllers to their thermal limits in extreme low-temperature conditions.

Argos is the official test pilot of Space Gamers Lab — and arguably the most qualified platypus in the aerospace industry.
Born from the idea that science doesn't have to be serious to be significant, Argos represents the spirit of Space Gamers Lab itself — curious, unconventional, and built for environments nobody else would dare test in.
Part mascot, part mission icon, Argos rides along on every experiment, logs every data point, and somehow manages to look good doing it in a space suit.
When the hardware goes up, Argos goes with it.

Space Gamers Lab was created by Angel Rosales, founder of StratoReach Aerospace and Pixel Rerun — an independent game development studio with an audience of 48,000 subscribers.
The idea was simple: gaming hardware is sophisticated, affordable, and largely untested in extreme environments. What happens to a controller at stratospheric altitude? How does a battery perform at -60°F? Does consumer technology hold up where almost nothing else does?
Space Gamers Lab exists to answer those questions — and share every result publicly. Part research initiative, part community mission, and entirely serious about the science behind the fun.
